Research Associate (m/f/d) – AI Ethics
at the AImotion Bavaria Institute
Your tasks
- Conduct research on AI ethics with a focus on human–AI interaction, responsibility, transparency, and explainability
- Teach courses in the above-mentioned areas
- Independently research and develop new theories and approaches in the philosophy of technology
- Contribute to knowledge transfer in education and policy through e.g. organising conferences and workshops
- Prepare independent and collaborative publications in academic journals, present research results at conferences, and support project acquisition and management
Your profile
- Above-average Master’s degree in philosophy or a related field with a focus on ethics, AI, or philosophy of technology
- Good German skills (minimum level B2) and excellent English skills (minimum level C1) required
- Strong interest in transdisciplinary questions at the intersection of ethics and emerging technologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills as well as a structured, self-organised work style

- Contract: Full-time (40 hours/week)

- Salary: According to TV-L pay scale, EG 13
